Liaison International
for US citizens
traveling overseas, foreign nationalist visiting the US, 15 days to
12 months of coverage.
Each year, the United States hosts millions of foreign visitors. While
the United States healthcare system is recognized as one of the best
in the world, many visitors are concerned about the potential out-of-pocket
expenses that could result from an injury or sickness during their stay.
Foreign visitors to the United States require an insurance program to
provide coverage for an unforeseen injury or sickness. Liaison® America
is designed to offer medical coverage and emergency services to foreign
nationals visiting the United States for up to twelve months.
International Major Medical
for domestic or international people temporarily outside their own country,
coverage for 2 weeks up to 12 months.
This is a temporary major medical insurance plan intended for indemnification
of eligible expenses from injuries or illness which occur within a specified
geographical area. Benefits may be assignable once validated. Until
then, benefits are paid directly to you to reimburse you for necessary
medical expenses which have been paid by you, subject to covered expenses
as outlined in the certificate.
The International Major Medical Plan provides needed coverage for only
a few dollars a day, regardless of whether your trip will be a few days
or a few years. For your personal security, make sure you have complete
and adequate health care coverage while traveling or residing outside
your home area or home country.
United States passports state explicitly that you should check your
coverage before traveling or residing outside the country, as many plans
including Medicare, do not provide coverage outside the U.S. Many health
care plans infer that coverage is worldwide, but they contain serious
exceptions that nearly render the coverage useless.
